We have some greyt seminars lined up too.  Dr, Bruce Smith will speak on Targeting Bone Cancer – A new Cancer Therapy; Terry Malloy will tell us about her RV experiences while traveling with 4 greys; Janet Shaffer is speaking on behalf of Dr, Couto and the new Greyhound Health Initiative; Chris Grieb will be back and do a Q&A on training greys. (This is to educate the audience as to the life of the greyhound before becoming a pet. The pro racing/anti racing controversy will NOT be addressed or discussed)
A tentative schedule has also been added.
We have contracted with Southern Soul Catering for the Friday dinner.  The complete menu ( and a vegetarian option) are listed under the dinner.  Dogs will be allowed to attend.  We  just ask that they not approach the buffet table.
BINGO is also back on Thursday evening. Prize and a cash bar are available.
As so many people are on Facebook so are we. Remember to LIKE us and click on the receive notification buttons for our updates.
And, as always, after our expenses we will be donating back to groups in need.  Come and join us as we celebrate our twelfth year.  Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones!

Island Updates:

There have been several changes to access the Island.

The toll plaza has been moved closer to the entrance area of the Island and across from the Welcome Center.  There are 3 lanes for payment and it is through an automated machine that accepts cash, debit or credit cards. You may choose from a daily, weekly, monthly, or a yearly pass.

A daily pass is $6.00 and is re-usable in a 24 hour time frame.  There is a 'help' button if needed as someone is close by during the day. You will need to go straight and go around the round-about to your left to find the hotels.
